Questions about Compress PDF

How much smaller will my PDF get?

It depends on what's inside. Scans and PDFs full of photos often shrink by 70–90%. PDFs that are mostly text are usually small already.

Will compressing lower the quality?

Only images are affected. Light keeps them sharp, Recommended is fine for screens and most printing, and Strong is for when size matters most.

Can I compress a password-protected PDF?

Remove the password first, then compress it.

Is it free?

Yes. You can compress PDFs without an account.
